Colchester Teacher Training Consortium (CTTC) is an Ofsted Outstanding Initial Teacher Training provider. We are a Consortium working in close partnership with schools in Essex and Suffolk to provide an outstanding training programme to primary and secondary trainee teachers.

Our goal is to equip our trainees with the skills and knowledge for a rewarding career in education. At the heart of CTTC is the profound belief that every individual brings something unique and valuable to the profession. As a result, our strength lies in training teachers from every background, from different walks of life and with disparate life-paths.

Our strong partnership of over 60 schools and colleges provides diversity and choice for trainees. Our training hubs are in Colchester and Ipswich to serve the local schools. Our schools offer trainees a wide range of educational experiences including grammar schools, sixth form colleges, specialist SEND schools, residential schools, and therapeutic centres.
