Colchester Teacher Training Consortium (CTTC) recently hosted its annual End of Course Celebration Evening, marking the achievements of this year’s cohort of trainee teachers. Held at Colchester County High School for Girls, the event brought together trainees, mentors, tutors, and school partners for an evening of recognition, reflection, and celebration.
The evening highlighted the hard work and dedication shown by trainees across both primary and secondary programmes, with heartfelt speeches from programme leaders and guest speakers applauding their growth, resilience, and commitment to the teaching profession.
Certificates were presented to all trainees, with special recognition given to those who had gone above and beyond during their training year. Guests were also treated to a showcase of trainee projects, classroom innovations, and reflections on school-based experiences.
CTTC Director Christine Wager said, “It has been a privilege to see our trainees develop into confident, reflective professionals. We are incredibly proud of each of them and the positive impact they are already having in classrooms across the region.”
The celebration concluded with a toast to the future, as many of the newly qualified teachers prepare to take up their first posts in schools across Essex, Suffolk, and beyond.
Congratulations to all graduates of 2024–25 – your journey in education is only just beginning!
