We are delighted to share that Colchester Teacher Training Consortium is experiencing an exceptionally high level of interest in our teacher training programmes starting in September 2026.

Applications have been strong across both our Primary and Secondary routes, reflecting the continued appeal of our school-centred, evidence-informed approach to Initial Teacher Training. It is fantastic to see so many prospective trainees choosing to begin their teaching journey with us.

As a result of this high demand, we are now nearing capacity in a number of subject areas and training routes. Some courses are already full, with others expected to close in the coming weeks.

We would strongly encourage anyone considering applying to submit their application as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and places are offered to suitable candidates throughout the recruitment cycle.
